Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1 beta
In SP1 MS will start to utilize the new virtualization hardware technology from Intel and AMD.
In the new Windows Virtualization Server to be out in '06 or '07
-MS will have VSS support for snap shots of active virtual HD
-They will also allow dynamic hardware allocation( add and remove CPUs, RAM, Hard Drives, & NICs) w/o having to restart the virtual server.
